Simply Sexy Stories Welcomes Cherie De Sues!

NG: I'm thrilled to have a fellow NRP author on Simply Sexy Stories today, welcome, Cherie! What do you enjoy the most about being a writer?

CDS: The creativity. Whenever I come up with a storyline, I'm amazed how the characters can change my plot and strengthen the emotional aspects of the novel.

NG: That always surprises me too. What genre(s) do you write and why?

CDS: I enjoy Paranormal and Suspense romances, so I write those. I like supernatural elements in my work or creating drama with suspense. I often use both when I'm developing an outline for a paranormal story.

NG: Describe your writing process in one word.

CDS: Sizzling!

NG: How long did it take for you to become published?

CDS: I wrote five novels initially and became published within three months after I attended the MUSE Conference held last September. I made contacts that have secured my short stories and novels with two excellent publishers.

NG: That's pretty amazing, Cherie! Any advice you’d like to share with aspiring authors?

CDS: Never give up. Evolve, keep writing…you get better at it and learn everything you can from other authors. Most of us will give you the information freely if you ask, too many authors are putting out unedited manuscripts with their name on them. Big mistake. Pay for an editor if you're going to self-publish or go to the smaller eBook publishers and try your novels and short stories on them.

NG: Let's talk about your new paranormal romance novel, Tales of the Red Moon Clan. What's this story all about?

CDS: Neol Pallaton is a Navajo medicine man and will go to any lengths, even anger the spirits themselves, to protect and love his one true mate. Sara Hughes has worked hard as an assistant DA, until she's dragged into the forest to be murdered because of what she knows. As a shape-shifter, Neol uses the cougar to rescue Sara, pulling her deeply into the Oregon forest, as hired killers stalk them. Passion ignites between the wary allies and Sara has to decide to break the law she's sworn to follow in order to protect Neol and save what they could have together.

NG: Ooooo, danger and romance this is my kind of story. What inspired you to pen this sexy tale?

CDS: I've known men who would do anything to protect and love the woman they've chosen. I wanted to show the great passion and complete wild abandon of a man completely in love. Sara is a feisty woman, who compliments Neol in every way.

NG: What’s the one thing readers can always count on when they pick up a book written by you?

CDS: A well, thought-out plot that twists and turns. Passion, obstacles, challenges and rich heroes and heroines that blend in the most erotic ways.

NG: What more could a reader ask for? Tell me, Cherie, what other hobbies do you enjoy besides writing?

CDS: I enjoy traveling, wine tasting, water sports and friends. My days of "hobbies" went by the wayside when I began to write full-time. My Irish terrier, Reilly, walks me a few times a day to get me away from the computer. Smile.

NG: If you could be any mythical/fantasy creature what would you be and why?

CDS: I'm Irish and Gypsy…there are many to choose from. I think I would like to be an impish Faery with gossamer wings and dance across the forest creating mayhem for loving couples. Just to spice things up you understand.

NG: *smiling* A trouble-making, faery, eh? Neat! And we've reached the final question...what do you think is sexy?

CDS: I think men in general can be as sexy as hell. A strong hand in the center of your back as he leads you into a room. Warm lips as a man smoothes them slowly over your exposed collarbone after a bubble bath. A caress along your inner thigh under the table at a fancy restaurant. Damn, is it getting warm in here?

NG: Definitely! Cherie, thank you for stopping by Simply Sexy Stories today!

Blurb:
Neol Pallaton walks alone through the bowels of society as a bounty hunter, until he shifts into a cougar to save Assistant D.A. Sara Hughes from certain death. A relentless killer keeps them moving by day through the Oregon forest—and by night under the full moon, passion rules their hearts.
The rugged forest is no place for a beautiful and feisty city woman, but Neol’s determined to help Sara piece together why she's being hunted. Sara thought bounty hunters were brutal loners who stretched the law she’s sworn to uphold. But Neol proves that no one can hunt, track and protect her like a Navajo medicine man from the Red Moon Clan.
Neol is willing to anger the spirits to protect his one true mate. Sara will have to bend the law to keep Neol and her alive—and together forever.

Eyes forward, she smoothed down her long hair and gripped her briefcase a little tighter. With a forced a smile she didn't feel, Sara reached the door and waited while a swarthy man looked her over. She bristled when his focus settled on her full breasts.

"You got ID lady?"

The doorman lisped badly from a missing front tooth. Sara gave him an icy stare.

"I'm here to see Mr. Daniel's."

"He knows you're coming tonight?" His pitted face showed interest.

"Yes." Her brazen statement could be true—she'd left several messages, had warned Daniels of her pending arrival. She fished around her briefcase and pulled out her wallet, then flashed her Oregon State driver's license.

"The stairs are all the way in the back; he's up there. First room on the left. His name’s on the door. Ya can't miss it." He smiled, showing rotten teeth, then exhaled his noxious breath and her stomach roiled.

"Thank you." Holding her breath, Sara walked into the dingy, smoke-filled bar, counting four infractions in the first ten seconds. She turned her gaze away from the women writhing against the brass poles and the drooling men shoving bills into the dancers’ flimsy G-strings.

She sighed, wondering if she could feel any more out of place, dressed as she was in her soft pink designer suit and high heels. She quickened her pace, moving through the large square room with her gaze pinned on the back wall. Sara's heartbeat rivaled the pounding drumbeat of the AC/DC's number blaring from the speakers and her mouth went dry.

Men from all sides intentionally bumped her and someone grabbed her ass. She used her briefcase like a shield, warding off undesired attention. One man stretched out a hand to touch her breast and she turned sharply away, only to slam head-on into a solid, muscular barrier. Soft whimpers of fear left her lips as two strong hands grabbed her arms and pushed her roughly against the wall next to the men's room.

Dazed by the sudden jolt, she dropped her briefcase as warm sweet breath from the stranger fanned her face. Sara looked up quickly into feral amber eyes piercing straight through her and her body quivered at their ferocity. He pushed with his thighs and tight abs against her thin suit and she gasped at the intimate contact.

He locked her firmly against him. Sara tried to pull away as he leaned close to her ear. Her heart beat wildly, she inhaled the scent of rain and spice mixed with the heat of his body.

"You may have just cost me my bounty, so now you're going to help me get my leverage back." The deep, seductive voice had an undertone like an animal's growl and her lower lip trembled.

"Get off me." She struggled, but he was too strong.

He flashed her a smug smile then looked away, studying the men coming and going from the men's room. She had a funny feeling she'd seen him before. He seemed familiar. Maybe at the courthouse?

The darkness veiled him in shadow and she stopped struggling; her movements only made her more acutely aware of his body pressing against hers. Breathing hard, Sara followed his gaze as he tensed.

A tall, bulky man with a dark beard and red hunting cap came out of the bathroom. Her captor dipped his head and his mouth came down to hers. His kiss moved invasively with passion, as if reuniting with an old lover—all hunger and need. Her palms went to his chest to push him away. He nipped her lower lip and a spark ignited within her.

Her rational mind understood the kiss had been a ploy—a cover he’d used to avoid attracting attention. But the heat they’d generated surprised her, made her unsteady on her feet, and she gripped his shirt to regain her balance. His hands slid down her arms to her hips. He pulled her against his rock hard arousal and his mouth slowed its assault. He seemed to be enjoying the taste and feel of her and worse, she'd begun to kiss him back.

Sara didn't remember reaching around his neck and fisting her fingers in his thick black hair. Her moan didn't vibrate against his lips, further inflaming him with desire. He pulled back sharply with a cocked brow, but then looked over his shoulder, obviously seeking out the man for whom he'd orchestrated this little charade.

She looked in the opposite direction, trying to slow her breathing and heart rate. In the back of the room, she saw the bearded man going out the exit door. To salvage what little pride she may have left, Sara pointed in that direction. “He’s leaving.”

Her captor’s eyes glowed amber as they followed her hand. "Consider us even."

He backed away with a rakish smile, his strange mesmerizing gaze gliding over her curves before he headed out the back.

Simply Sexy Stories Welcomes Jenna Byrnes!

NG: I'm thrilled to have erotic romance author Jenna Byrnes today on Simply Sexy Stories! Jenna, what do you enjoy the most about being a writer?

JB: I love the whole creative process, from finding just the right title, to the perfect names. And the one twist in the story that’s going to make readers go, “ah ha!”

NG: What genre(s) do you write and why?

JB: I write contemporary because that’s what I enjoy reading. I’ve done a bit of sci fi and I read some of it, too, but nothing too heavy. And no historical. I write mostly m/m but also do some m/f for those readers that simply prefer it. I’ve also done some f/f which isn’t quite as popular, sales-wise, but does have a loyal following. Each of the pairings is fun in its own way!

NG: Why do you write primarily m/m erotica?

JB: M/M is a more popular genre right now, and I have many more requests for those types of books. Requests for F/F are slowly growing, but it's still a smaller market.

NG: What's it like writing m/m erotica as a female author?

JB: At first I was intimidated, writing M/M as a female, but I like to think the emotions and feelings are the same. After a while, you figure out the techniques!

NG: How long did it take for you to become published?

JB: The first book I wrote took several years, but I didn’t work on it seriously until about 2005. I was first published in the summer of 2006.

NG: What's the one thing you wished you had known about the publishing world before you got into the biz?

JB: How long everything takes, from the submission process, to waiting for the book to come out. It can be a year or longer in some cases.

NG: Any advice you’d like to share with aspiring authors?

JB: Patience! And never give up. I’ve gotten some rejections along the way. Sometimes the stories were a better fit elsewhere, sometimes not. But if you love what you do, just keep at it.

NG: Let's talk about Stroke of Luck. What this story all about?

JB: When Steven DeLong wins ninety-seven million dollars in the lottery, he knows he needs advice from a professional. He calls on an accountant recommended by his brother and discovers the man is a sexy hunk. Paul Aspen wants to help Steven with his money, but first he gets the naïve bartender into bed. Steven's left to figure out if Paul is more interested in him or the lottery winnings. It’s a fun read!

NG: What inspired you to pen this sexy tale?

JB: I’ve heard stories about how winning the lottery ruined people’s lives. I wanted to explore this, and add a sexy element!

NG: What’s the one thing readers can always count on when they pick up a book written by you?

JB: A happy ending, or if it’s a short story, at least a ‘happy for now’ ending. And a story with a sense of humor. I think life is much too serious, and love to add some fun whenever possible!

NG: Yay! Who doesn't need a little more humor in their life? Do you have any other hobbies that you enjoy?

JB: Reading, of course. And watching scary movies with my family!

NG: If you could be any mythical/fantasy creature what would you be and why?

JB: I’ve always thought being a witch would be amazing. But the people around me better watch out! *evil, wicked grin*

NG: I can't let you leave without asking...what do you think is sexy?

JB: Varies from person to person. A good personality ranks high up there, though. Okay, and a nice butt in a pair of tight jeans doesn’t hurt, either. *G*

NG: Oh, yeah! Jenna, I'm so happy you stopped by Simply Sexy Stories today! Congrats on this hot new release and best wishes for this upcoming year!

JB: Thanks for having me here today!

Blurb:
When a sexy lottery winner calls on an equally handsome accountant for advice, will love or money rule?

Ninety-seven millions dollars is more money than Steven DeLong can even imagine. When he realises he's won the lottery, he knows he needs advice from a professional, and fast. He calls on an accountant recommended by his brother, unaware the man is the sexiest hunk Steven has ever laid eyes, or anything else, on.

Paul Aspen seems excited by the prospect of helping Steven with his money, and even more excited to get the naïve bartender into bed. When both men come up for air, Steven's left wondering if Paul is more interested in him or the lottery winnings. In the end, he's forced to decide whether love or money rules his heart.

Super Sexy Never Before Seen Excerpt of Stroke of Luck by Jenna Byrnes:

Standing so close to the handsome, dark-haired devil had his cock pulsing in his trousers, and the ache was getting difficult to ignore. “If it’s all right with you, I’d like to stay.”

“Look.” Paul put his hands on Steven’s chest. “As much as I’d like that, I don’t want you thinking it has anything to do with the money.”

The touch did it. Steven slid his arms around Paul’s waist and dragged him forward until their bodies collided. “Forget about it,” he murmured and smiled. “Or at least, let’s think about something else for a while. I have all this nervous energy I could use some help to burn off.”

“If you’re sure.” Paul’s lips said one thing, but his eyes reflected another. He seemed to be as turned on as Steven was. For either of them to stop, at that moment, was most likely a feat easier said than done.

“Kiss me.” Paul had mentioned spending a good hour devouring his lips, and Steven was ready for the hunk to get started.

“Aw, fuck.” Apparently resigned to what was undeniably going to happen, Paul pressed his mouth against Steven’s. What started as something light and tender quickly turned hungrier, more primal.

Steven parted his lips, allowing Paul’s plundering tongue to slip in. The kiss deepened, and for a moment he struggled for air. He gasped but soon realised his lover was breathing for both of them. They were like one being. An amazing feeling, and one he was anxious to take to the next level.

Must get closer. Steven sank against the man, would have crawled inside him if he could have, to be nearer to him. “Need you,” he murmured unintelligibly because their lips were still locked.

Paul pulled back, panting. “I have no idea what you just said, but if it was ‘stop’, I think I’ll have to kill you.”

“Don’t stop.” Steven tugged the other man’s tie off with a flourish. “More. I need more.”

Both sets of fingers trembled as they unbuttoned each other’s shirts. Paul tugged him towards the other room. “Let’s take this party into the bedroom. I have supplies in the nightstand.”

“Think you can be naked by the time we get there?” Steven shrugged off his jacket. He thought for a moment about the ticket in his pocket but ignored the niggling and left the coat on the sofa.

Paul hopped as he kicked out of his shoes. “The bedroom is right around the corner. But, yes, I’ll be naked by the time we get there.”

Wide grins split both their faces. Steven shrugged out of the rest of his clothes, leaving a trail that ended with his boxer-briefs by the side of the bed.
With one swift motion, Paul tossed back the bedding and exposed navy-coloured silk sheets. He fumbled in the drawer of the bedside table and came up with a couple of foil packets and some lube.

“Aw, look at this!” Steven dived onto the bed and flopped onto his back. “Fancy, schmancy. You’re living the good life, man.” He bit back a moan as Paul grabbed his knees and spread them wide, crawling between.

“What difference does it make if you don’t have someone to share it with?” The handsome hunk kissed Steven’s ankle and slowly worked his way up the leg.
Steven shuddered as the lips and tongue left no inch of skin untouched. When the mouth reached his groin, he was ready for it. His cock throbbed, a drop of pre-cum glistening on the slit. If Paul had so much as licked the swollen head, he might have erupted on the spot.

Instead, Paul blew warm breath on the puckered balls. He ignored the raging hard-on and continued kissing down Steven’s other leg. Slowly, methodically, he made it to the toes and massaged them one at a time before Steven had to protest.

“You’re killing me!” He flopped on the bed. “I said I needed you, not needed more torment. Suck me, fuck me, do something. I can’t take any more teasing.”

“Oh, I think you can. Just relax, Lover-boy. You’ll be sucked and fucked to your heart’s content. Right now, I want you to flip over on your stomach. I have more tasting to do.”

Steven groaned loudly but did as requested. He buried his face into the cool, slick pillowcase and muttered, “I’m gonna get your sheets all messy.”

“I hope so.”

5 Things NOT to Say This Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is just five days away! I'm a firm believer in showing your lover your feelings all year 'round but this is one day to really make it special. And that doesn't always mean something ridiculously extravagant. Remember it's the little things that usually speak the loudest. We all know the tender, sweet, sexy sentiments we'd like to be whispered in our ears or written in a card but this post is about the exact opposite! Hopefully, you're not guilty of one of these V-day disasters!

5. "I would've gotten you a card but I didn't have any time."

NG: Uh . . . this is like one of the worst things you can say to a woman. I know most men could care less about these but most ladies treasure the time it takes for you to find the perfect card. The card sometimes serves as the barometer of the relationship itself. Confused? Don't be. I simply mean if I'm thinking I'm going to get a lovely card saying "I love you," and I get one that says, "You're so sweet!" Well, you get the idea.

4. "I would've gotten you chocolate but I know you're watching your weight."

NG: Jeez! The last thing I want to be reminded about on V-day are my dieting battles. If you know your woman likes chocolates . . . get her some, diet or not! Just about everyone considers V-day a day off the celery sticks.

3. "I asked so and so and his girl to join us for dinner."

NG: What?! Seriously? Unless you are 100% sure your babe is cool with sharing your attention on this special evening, tell your friend you'll double date next weekend.

2. "C'mon it's Valentine's Day, give me some p****!"

NG: lol. Valentine's Day is usually a given for most couples to get it on but don't always assume your woman is in the mood just because it's February 14th. We're human! There could be a million reasons why we aren't getting naked and if you are a true Valentine you'll know just what to do to get her IN the mood. Oh, and if you're guilty of asking for it like the example given above, please rent some chick flicks or better yet pick a steamy romance novel and read it! I guarantee you'll find some lines that will help you get into the bedroom and spice things up in the bed!

1. "Oh, is today Valentine's Day?"

NG: There really isn't much to say here. This usually indicates a break-up coming, you're about to say the words and if you aren't . . . she probably is.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Sometimes A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words . . .

Sometimes when I'm writing a scene in one of my stories, I find visual depictions that fit what I writing to the tee! I had to share this one . . . it's fabulous!

Blurb: One night of pleasure was all it was suppose to be between Cosmetic heiress, Blu Evans and the mysterious man she’d met in a Paris hotel named “J” She never suspected that she’d slept with the enemy!

Jaden Graeham is a man who knows what he wants and he wants Blu Evans. He loves a challenge and life won’t be complete until he has her back in his bed, but when a troubling piece to his past comes back to take out revenge and unmask a dark secret, will Jaden be able to survive the greatest risk of all: watching the woman he loves walk away?

Caution! Sexy Excerpt Below!

Blu’s eyelids fluttered. She wanted to tell him—say anything that would take that smug look off of his face but she was tongue-tied. It'd been a month ago, yet barely a moment passed when she wasn't thinking of him fucking her. Every time she closed her eyes, she remembered the vibrant smell of fresh flowers, Jaden's spicy cologne and the heady scent of sex.

It was enough to drive her insane. She despised this man and everything he stood for and yet she was attracted to him more than she’d been to any man in a long time.

Blu opened her eyes, startled at the blatant passion reflected in his green eyes. She wanted to look away, but couldn't. She'd never encountered a man so intense or forbidden.

"Some things can’t be forgotten." Jaden traced the tip of his finger against the soft skin of her cheek. Her body responded swiftly. She couldn’t breathe. He was standing so close that she could feel the heat projecting from him and the firm bulge pressed against his suit pants. He was hard, and she was oh, so ready.

Blu drew back abruptly. "Damn you!"

He smiled. "You want me and I want you. What's wrong with that?"

“That was before I found out what you were up to. Don’t hold my lack of judgment against me. I won’t make the same mistake twice, I assure you.” She balled her hands into fists to keep from striking him. "I don't want you."

Jaden shoved his hands back in his pockets, and retreated a fraction of an inch from where Blu stood. "You’re choosing to deny what’s going on between us? Can’t you feel it?”

“Feelings are fleeting.”

“Not so fleeting that your pulse didn’t speed up. I bet you’re wet for me right now.”

Blu’s eyebrows rose. "Look, I came here today to warn you to stay the hell away from my business. I'll only say this once." She swung her purse over her shoulder to keep from touching him, and then turned to watch the blatant amusement on his face. "Stay the hell away from me, too."

She turned to walk out of Jaden's office on shaky legs. She glanced over her shoulder to look at him. The sucker-punched look on his handsome face didn’t fool her; he was already devising his counter attack and she’d better ready.
