True Story...

Hi. My name is Nichelle Gregory and I write erotic romance. Yes, those stories. Hot. Steamy. Naughty stories and I LOVE it!

I can't tell you how many times I've been asked: "Are these stories based on your real life?" No matter what I say, I get that look. That nod of the head or laugh that tells me whatever I say will not change the perception of the person brazen enough to ask such a question.

The belief is: I write sex-filled erotic romances...therefore, I am a sex crazed woman.

Fine...fine. I'm so tired of denying it.

I am a sex crazed woman. I live eat and breath S.E.X.

Yes, I've been ravished by a werewolf.

Yes, I've experienced untold pleasures with a gorgeous genie.
Yes, I've had sex in the office with a co-worker.

Yes, I've had sex with white, asian, latino, black and cookie men.

Yes
, I love sex toys and porn and I play with myself at every given moment. Damn...slippery fingers make it so hard to type!

Why, right now, I'm being spanked by the Gingerbread man!
(If you'd like the recipe, just email me!)

I'm a kinky, wild, uninhibited author who writes chapters from my life story.

Stay tuned...

I'm working on a tale about a woman who has been captured by a well-endowed alien...two massively hung aliens that teach her all about their naughty intergalactic ways aboard their ship!

Yep, it's a true story.

  6. Oh Nichelle, I wonder what those folks would think if we told them the true stories about your days and nights with a certain well-endowed Incubus? Ah, it would make their toes curl.

The truth of the matter is that people want to live their lives vicariously through other people. It's one of the reasons there are so damn many reality shows on TV. And some of the people watching those reality shows - really believe that crap is "real". Give me a break.

Anyway, sex sells and truthfully, if fueling other people's imagination is what it takes to get them to spend their hard earned money on my books - GREAT. Sadly, there is a double standard for women, especially women writers of erotic stories. However, people are going to believe what they want to believe and the best thing for us as writers, is to ride the wave all the way to the bank. Muwah!!@

  9. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I love it! So true Nichelle! We all live the stories in our books don't we? I mean how else would we be writers? Imagination has nothing to do with it! (Tongue definitely in cheek there:-))

  12. I guess some people have never heard the word "fiction" before. I wonder if they really think that Winnie the Pooh lives in the 100 Acre Woods with Tigger, Roo, Eeyore, etc.
